Beef Curry Soup

Method

Ingredients

  1. In a large saucepan or pot, brown the beef cubes and onions in butter or margarine
     

  2. Add the beef stock, curry powder and bay leaves
     

  3. Cook at a low heat for 30 minutes
     

  4. Add the potatoes, vinegar and salt
     

  5. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until tender
     

  6. Serve Hot

I normally accompany this with pita bread which I spread with marg / butter and minced garlic (to my taste) and then grated cheese and some garlic salt. I bake this in the oven on 180˚C for roughly 10 mintues.
