Caramel Popcorn

  1. Preheat oven to 95˚C
     

  2. Follow instructions on your microwave popcorn packet, once ready place in a roasting dish and set aside 
     

  3. In a saucepan mix butter, brown sugar, golden syrup and cream of tartar together
     

  4. Bring to the boil slowly stiring constantly for 4 minutes
     

  5. Remove saucepan from heat ,add baking soda and stir
     

  6. Pour the mixture over your already made popcorn and bake in oven for 45 minutes
     

  7. Be sure to check the popcorn and mix contantly

 

 

 

Make sure to keep stored in an airtight container to keep the popcorn nice and crunchy
