Lemon Bread

1. Preheat oven to 175ºC

2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy

 

3. Add beaten eggs one at a time

 

4. Gradually stir in sifted flour, salt and baking powder

 

5. Add milk, rind and walnuts (optional)

 

6. Bake mixture for 60 minutes then remove from oven and pour over sauce.
 

7. Put back in the warm oven turned off
