Mince Potato & Spaghetti

1. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil and add a pinch of salt. Dice potato and add to water. Cook potatoes until soft

 

2. In a pot melt butter and add onions cook until translucent in colour

 

3. Add mince, a pinch of salt and worchister sauce to onions and fill pot with water until just covering mince

 

4. In a mug mix cornflour with 1 tablespoon of water until thickned and add to mince mixture

 

5. In a seperate pot heat up spaghetti on medium / low heat

 

6. Once potatoes are cooked add a knob of butter and milk and mash add more milk and butter as needed

 

7. When all elements of dish are cooked place one serving of mashed potato on a plate as the bottom layer, then add a layer of mince and finally a layer of spaghetti, note that each layer is smaller then the layer before.

 

8. Top dish with freshly grated cheese.

 

This was a reciepe that me and my friends put together, we often expiremented with other ingredients like adding spring onions or bacon.
